Students in Woodworking I and Woodworking II have been focused on a variety of projects recently, including:
- Sanding pieces for an end grain cutting board
- Gluing an oak and walnut chess board
- Adding the finishing touches to a rook on the bandsaw
- Adding frets to a banjo
- Cutting a path for resin on the CNC
- Hand chiseling out a laminated bowl
- Building the base structure for a picnic table
- Gluing layers to create lacrosse sticks
- Working towards a 10-hour OSHA certification
