Chelmsford High announces Students of the Month for December

CHELMSFORD, Massachusetts (Jan. 5, 2026) – Six seniors were recently honored as Chelmsford High School named its Lions Pride/Rotary Student of the Month recipients for December, announced CHS Principal Stephen Murray.

Students receiving recognition were Jade Boyer and Erin Mammola from Emerson House, Lucy Frankland and Akshat Pandey of Hawthorne House and Jackson Chludzinski and Anne Magny from Whittier House.

Jade Boyer

“A dedicated and well-rounded student,” Boyer is currently enrolled in AP Literature and Composition, AP Statistics, AP Calculus, Honors Anatomy and Physiology, AP Spanish Language and Culture, Honors Band and Nutrition.

Boyer has been inducted into the National Honor Society (NHS), Science National Honor Society (SNHS), the Tri-M Music Honor Society and the National English Honor Society (NEHS); she has also been recognized as an AP Scholar with Honors.

In addition, Boyer has earner the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, received the RIT Women in STEM Book Award and was named a Commended Student in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Boyer is a key member of the Chelmsford High School tennis team and contributes significantly to the CHS music and arts community, participating in the marching band, concert band, jazz band and pit orchestra.

She is also the media manager for CHSTv and the vice president of the CHS Asian Student Organization.

Outside of school, Boyer volunteers her time with Chelmsford Grow-A-Row and Continuo Music.

After graduating from CHS, Boyer plans to attend a four-year university to major in biology, with the goal of working in the healthcare field.

She is the daughter of Soonsil Lee and Jon Boyer.

Erin Mammola

Mammola is currently enrolled in Quantitative Reasoning and Problem Solving, Modern World Literature, Supervised Education Practicum and Seminar, American Sign Language III Honors, Modern Topics in Health Sciences, Psychology and Study Skills.

In addition to being inducted into the NHS, Mammola was selected by CHS to participate in the Women’s Empowerment Conference during her junior year, an opportunity extended to only 10 students.

During her time at CHS, Mammola has been a key member of the field hockey team and has served as a student leader on the unified basketball team. She has also participated in both spring and winter track and field.

Described as a “polite, thoughtful, and a positive presence in every room she enters,” Mammola is an active member of Best Buddies and currently serves as the chapter president.

After leaving CHS, Mammola plans to attend a four-year university to major in special education, with a possible minor in American Sign Language.

She is the daughter of Katie and Mark Mammola.

Lucy Frankland

Frankland is currently enrolled in AP Research, AP Environmental Science, AP Literature and Composition, AP Spanish Language and Culture, Calculus, Reality Check and Writing for College.

Her commitment to academic excellence has helped earn Frankland membership in numerous honor societies including NHS, World Language National Honor Society, SNHS and NEHS.

Frankland has also been honored as the recipient of the Outstanding Delegate Award at the 2025 Model United Nations Conference.

In addition to participating in soccer, winter track and field and spring track and field teams, Frankland is also involved with CHSTV, Model UN, Crochet Club and the Writing and Literature and Philosophy Clubs.

Beyond the walls of Chelmsford High School, Frankland is treasurer of Venture Crew, a co-ed program within Scouting America and a teaching assistant at Keystone Montessori School.

After graduation, Frankland plans to attend a four-year university to study zoology or environmental science, eventually pursuing a Doctorate.

She is the daughter of Amanda and Tony Frankland.

Akshat Pandey

Described as a student who is “always eager to learn,” Pandey is taking a challenging course load that includes AP Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science, AP Literature and Composition, AP Physics, and Dual Enrollment Money Smart.

Pandey’s academic excellence has earned him recognition as an AP Scholar; he is also a recipient of the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship.

In addition to his studies, Pandey is active in extracurriculars, serving as captain of the CHS Debate Team and a dedicated member of LIME, volunteering for various organizations in Chelmsford and the surrounding communities.

In his free time, Pandey volunteers at the Chelmsford Public Library.

In the future, Pandey plans to attend a four-year university to study computer engineering.

He is the son of Seema and Shashank Pandey.

Jackson Chludzinski

Described as a “mature, organized, proactive leader,”  Chludzinski is currently enrolled in AP Literature and Composition, AP Calculus, AP French Language and Culture, AP Physics, Honors Band, Nutrition and Mentoring.

His dedication to his coursework has earned Chludzinski membership in the NHS and the NEHS. He was also recognized as a Commended Student in the National Merit Scholarship Program last spring.

Chludzinski is heavily involved in CHS music as a member of the Symphonic and Marching Bands, the Pit Orchestra, the All-Town Wind Ensemble and the Pep Band. He has also been a member of the Senior New England Youth Wind Ensemble.

This fall, Chludzinski plans on attending a four-year college or university to major in English or creative writing.

He is the son of Christina and Michael Chludzinski.

Anne Magny

“A remarkable student and asset in all of her classes,” Magny is enrolled in AP Statistics, AP Physics, AP Literature and Composition, AP Government, AP Environmental Science, Introduction to Photography and Reality Check.

In addition to earning membership in the NHS, NEHS and SNHS, Magny has been recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction and has earned her AP Capstone Diploma She is also a National African American Recognition student, an ATWIN Scholar and Program Evaluator through ATWIN Education, a Harvard inspired youth program, and a Big Future Ambassador through the College Board.

Magny is a member of LIME, DECA, the Freshman Mentor Program and Women in STEM, as well as cofounder of Girls Who Code.

Outside of Chelmsford High School, Magny can be found volunteering her time at the Chelmsford Public Library.

In the fall, Magny plans on attending a four-year university or college to major in aerospace engineering and minor in black studies or creative writing.

She is the daughter of Kalty Mode.
