It’s been a crazy – and joyous – seven weeks for the Chelmsford High baseball team.
The Lions went from a 14th-seeded team which lost eight regular-season games to an unlikely Division 1 state champion.
Now the Chelmsford players and coaching staff will be honored on the biggest stage Massachusetts baseball can offer – Fenway Park, the world-famous home of the Boston Red Sox.
On Monday, Aug. 4, the Lions will be recognized on the field prior to the first pitch of the Red Sox-Kansas City Royals clash.
It figures to be a night to remember for all involved. Tickets are still available.
