The Sun: Chelmsford High baseball team to be honored at Fenway Park

It’s been a crazy – and joyous – seven weeks for the Chelmsford High baseball team.

The Lions went from a 14th-seeded team which lost eight regular-season games to an unlikely Division 1 state champion.

Now the Chelmsford players and coaching staff will be honored on the biggest stage Massachusetts baseball can offer – Fenway Park, the world-famous home of the Boston Red Sox.

On Monday, Aug. 4, the Lions will be recognized on the field prior to the first pitch of the Red Sox-Kansas City Royals clash.

It figures to be a night to remember for all involved. Tickets are still available.
