Chelmsford High track star Gable Gray continues to make headlines.
The senior-to-be defeated some of the top athletes in the country Saturday night to capture the American JavFest, throwing the javelin 214 feet, eight inches, a personal best effort, in East Stroudsburg, Pa.
Gray excelled under the national spotlight, as five of his six throws sailed over 200 feet. Bryson Jacobs of Drexel, Mo., finished second with a best throw of 211-08. In third place was Thomas Bannon of Rockville, Conn., with a 203-11.
