Girls lacrosse stars Catherine Craig of Chelmsford and Ava O’Brien of Dracut has been named the Merrimack Valley’s Conference Div. 1 and Div. 2 Player of the Year, respectively.

Chelmsford’s Ashley Rokas was selected the Div. 1 Coach of the Year, while Billerica earned the Div. 1 Sportsmanship Award.

Chelmsford captured the Div. 1 title, while Methuen was the Div. 2 champs.

A total of 10 area players were named to the first team All-Conference squad.

helmsford placed five members of the team – senior Reese Hughes, senior Madelyn Callahan, junior Anna Bierwirth, junior Carly Hartman and junior Eloise Sosnowski.
