Twenty-nine Chelmsford High School students recently competed at the Massachusetts DECA State Career Development Conference in Boston. Nine of those students advanced and will represent Massachusetts DECA at the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta April 25-28, 2026.

Chelmsford DECA students to compete at International Conference

CHELMSFORD, Massachusetts (April 13, 2026) – Chelmsford High School will have nine students representing Massachusetts DECA during the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta, April 25-28.

The students earned the honor to attend this three-day event when they competed at the Massachusetts DECA State Career Development Conference in Boston last month.

In total, 29 students represented CHS during the state competition, joining more than 4,000 others from across the commonwealth to compete in a variety of business-related categories.

Competition consisted of presenting business plans and proposals that the students had developed this school year, and testing and role-play presentations in various business categories.

The CHS students who will be attending the ICDC are as follows:

  • Financial Consulting Event: Junior Molly Zeng
  • Start-Up Business Plan: Seniors Nathan Moore and Miles Redding Cooper
  • International Business Plan: Juniors Mark Agauby, Tommy Dunakin and Alex Kurth
  • Professional Selling Event:  Senior Ethan Jiang
  • Leadership Academy: Freshman Riya Sarode and junior Nisha Manchi
