Crescendos 5 O'Clock Shadow

A member of 5 O’Clock Shadow had approached Amanda Roeder, CHS Choir Director and Advisor to both The Crescendos and The Thursdays, about providing an opening act for the Feb. 25 performance. “We have a prior relationship with the group, as members of 5 O’Clock Shadow have taught workshops and run sound for the Chelmsford groups in the past,” said Ms. Roeder.

The Crescendos will perform four songs.

“We can’t wait to get a taste of what it’s like to perform like professionals, as we have been truly inspired by 5 O’Clock Shadow’s performance energy and incredible talent,” said Crescendos Co-President Cailin Deutschmann. “We are incredibly honored and excited to share the stage with such a fantastic group.”

Founded in 1991, 5 O’Clock Shadow has appeared on America’s Got Talent and won the Harmony Sweepstakes Boston A Cappella championship in 1997. They have performed with the likes of The Boston Pops, Aaron Neville, Patty LaBelle, Kool and The Gang and James Brown.
